Estate Pony Wins at Royal Highland Show

Estate pony manager, Vicki Bogan, had reason to smile on Saturday 3rd July when her entry, Atholl Clover, came top in the Working Harness category of the prestigous Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh.

Vicki reported, 'This is the first time Atholl Clover has come first in a working harness class and for that to happen at the Highland Show makes it all the more impressive. This year's class had strong entries and I'm very proud of her!'

Clover is relatively young at six years old and was born on the estate. When not trekking, she works as a deer pony on the Dalnamein beat which is at the north west side of the estate.

This is the third time Atholl Estates has won this class at the Hghland Show, each year  with a different pony and a different judge. Congratulations once again to Vicki and Hamish at the trekking centre.
